is proud to present the Advanced Interior Lighting Control. This will keep your overhead light on after you close the door and then fade out.
This module is manufactured right here in New York City, using the best components we could find, not the cheapest.
We kept this as simple as possible to make it easy for you to get this in with the least amount of time!
Operation:
Please refer to the wiring diagram. This module is designed to work with an interior lamp that is always "hot" and the door switch provides ground.
If you have something else, please call!
When the module is first connected, the light may turn on. This is normal.
When you open the door, the NC switch provides ground and the interior lamps come on. The underlying function of the module is to latch for about 25 seconds when you first open the door.
When you close the door, the module keeps the light on.
The light level holds for about 15 seconds, then starts to fade for about 4 seconds, and goes out. The latest version has a fourth (green) lead for optional connection to the ignition - turning the
ignition on will switch the module off, if you connect the green lead.
The module is quite small, less than 2 inches square and .8 inches high, w/ flying leads.

Limitations:
The module has been redesigned to provide more consistant operation. Although the power transistor is rated to 43 Watts (Volts times Amps), you should really limit the load to not
more than 3 Amps. This is based on an alternator system which runs at ~ 13.8 Volts. (13.8 Volts x 3 Amps = 41.4 Watts)
All units have been tested and run to insure your complete satisfaction.
